Welcome back Farren!!

We at UUCT love music so much!! Farren Mayfield, who was UUCT's pianist prior to Mari Kumagai, is returning to UUCT starting June 7, 2009! Farren is a graduate from NSU majoring in piano. He teaches private lessons and has been accompanying groups in Tahlequah and Tulsa. Farren has a a son, Farren traz, who is twelve, and a a daughter, Chloe, who is six years old. Both are attending school and are full of life! We have missed each other over these last few years and are looking forward to seeing and playing with one another again. Thanks Farren!!

Carolyn Sales from the nearby Sparrowhawk Village will lead on this Sunday service titlted "Into the Water" - We can exmplore the evolving response of human being into the "sea of suffering" in the Biblical stories of the Isrealites' exodus over the Red Sea, Jonah in the whale's belly, and Jesus walking on the Sea of Galillee. From whining terror through courageous confrontation to the responsible exercise of mature power, these stories reveal the path through suffering to transcedence. By examing them we discover the hope of our human heritage and find the courage to dive "Into the Water".

Members along with our yard man and the workers from the City of Tahlequah have been working dilgently to spruce up the exterior of our lovely congregation. Get in your green car, hop on your bicycle, or take an evening stroll by UUCT to get agander at what's going on. ...and don't forget the Art Garden still needs to grwo more art.
