UUCT Loves the Sounds of Music!
Local and World Musics are a Strong Part of our Congregation
UUCT is committed to exploring a wide range of music from as many resources as possible.
Since its inception UUCT has reached out to the Tahlequah community and brought not only Sunday hymnals but also invited musical guests during services, classes for students of all ages, and concerts from state and national artists. Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating the wonderful music of our lives at UUCT. This page is dedicated to the UU tradition of musical experience.

UUCT Public Concerts
December 2, 2007 ~ Mary McCaslin
From Santa Cruz, CA, UUCT was blessed to host Mary McCaslin, as part of the NSU concert series. Mary represents an unbroken link between traditional American folk singers and "new folk" singer-songwriters. Knonw for her songs abou the West, its landscapes, and its outlaws as well as her insightful songs about relationships, Mary has influenced countless other performers.Mary was a pioneer of open tunings, using them long before they gained their current popularity. Mary also plays "clawhammer" banjo, relased BROKEN PROMISES in 1994, and has been touring wiht her new CD "Better Late Than Never". Thank you Mary McCaslin.
